LED Indicators

The LED indicators of the Switch include Power and Link/Act. Thefollowing shows the LED indicators for the Switch along with anexplanation of each indicator.

Power

This indicator on the front panel should be lit during thePower-On Self Test (POST). It will light green approximately 2seconds after the switch is powered on to indicate the ready stateof the device.

Link/Act

Each on-board port has a corresponding indicator. This willlight steady green for a valid link and blink whenever there isreception or transmission (i.e. Activity--Act) of data occurring ata port.
