What functions of my smart plug are available?

Through the Matter protocol, your smart plug supports basic power control, which is simply the ability to turn it on and off. These are the standard functions provided by the Matter specification.

If you set up and use your smart plug exclusively with the AQUILA PRO AI app (without connecting it via Matter), additional advanced features become available, including:

1. Real-time power monitoring of the device connected to your smart plug.

    

2. Power Activity Detection, which allows you to monitor changes in power usage. You can define a power threshold and a duration. When the connected device’s power consumption exceeds or falls below this threshold for a set period, the smart plug will automatically send a push notification to alert you.

    

3. Auto Power-Off, which automatically turns off the plug when the connected device exceeds a specified power threshold, helping to ensure safety.

Please note that these advanced features are only accessible through the AQUILA PRO AI App and are not available directly via Matter controllers such as Apple Home, Google Home, or Amazon Alexa.
