What can I do if I cannot find my wireless network or cannot connect to the wireless network?

If you can’t find a wireless network or can’t connect to a wireless network, please try the following actions to troubleshoot:

• Make sure your mobile device is still in the range of your D-Link router. Move it closer if it is currently too far away.

• Turn your client device’s Wi-Fi off and back on.

• Check Airplane Mode on your client devices. Ensure Airplane Mode is turned off.

• Reboot your client device and try to connect to the network of your D-Link router again.

• Check if the LED on your D-Link router or range extender becomes blinking orange or not. Reboot your D-Link router and make sure the LED has a solid white.

• You may configure the Wi-Fi schedule for your network via the Wi-Fi setting or Health Mode. Disable these features and try to connect the network again.

• Check if your client device is compatible with the Wi-Fi standard.

• Adjust Wi-Fi channel or frequency. D-Link Wi-Fi 6 routers broadcast two different network frequency bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Separate these networks so they will appear in the available Wi-Fi networks and try connecting to the SSID name on a different frequency band. Adjust Wi-Fi channels may fix the connection issues.

• Reset your D-Link router to the factory default and re-install it as a last resort.
