What is two-factor authentication and why should it be enabled?

Two-factor authentication helps protect your D-Link account by adding another step of authentication when you sign in to the AQUILA PRO AI app on a new mobile device or web browser. To sign in with two-factor authentication, you must first enter your AQUILA PRO AI account and password. A push notification will then be sent to all trusted mobile devices that are currently logged in. Tap the push notification on the trusted device to approve or deny the login attempt.

We recommend enabling two-factor authentication to further protect your privacy and smart home. To enable two-factor authentication, you must update your AQUILA PRO AI app to v2.0 or later.
