How do I add a mydlink-enabled device to my account if it's currently registered to another account?
If your device is registered with another mydlink account, you will need to remove it from the account it is currently registered with, or you will need to hard reset your device back to the factory default settings. After doing this, you will be able to register the device to your mydlink account.
To remove a device from a mydlink account:
1. Sign in to the mydlink account the device is registered to.
2. Select your device, then go to its Settings page and click the Remove Device button.
To hard reset a device back to the factory default settings:
1. Make sure your device is plugged in and powered on, then use an unfolded paperclip to press and hold the RESET button for at least 20 seconds.
2. Wait about 60 seconds for the device to reboot.
